FORMAT & RULES:

- All submissions are permitted, fostering an atmosphere of fair play and diverse tactics.
- Striking and small joint manipulation are strictly prohibited.
- Repositioning during matches is left to the discretion of the referee, ensuring a balance between strategy and sportsmanship.
- The competition follows a round-robin format, featuring eight athletes divided into two groups of four.
- Each athlete faces every member of their group in spirited bouts lasting ten minutes, totaling three matches per participant.
- The athlete with the highest number of successful submissions in their group earns the opportunity to advance to the final, where they confront the winner of the opposing group.
- The final match extends for a period of fifteen minutes, providing a comprehensive test of skill and endurance.
- In the event of a tie within a group or the final, victory is awarded to the athlete with the fastest prior submission—a nod to the value of precision and efficiency in the pursuit of success.
